Hi Peter,
What a fantastic day of birding with a great group of people! We kicked things off at the East Pond, where the high water levels didn’t stop us from getting great looks at a variety of ducks, herons, geese, and shorebirds.

After about an hour, we headed to the west side, where the birding continued with several sparrow species, a few raptors, and an almost unbelievable number of Yellow-rumped Warblers! There were plenty of other birds to keep us busy along the way, too. Our final tally 59 species.
