Prospect Park Thursday series Aug 28th

Leader : Tom Stephenson

Hi Peter,

Hope you're having a great summer.
We had exceptional weather and a great group of maybe around 35-40 people including an attendee from Germany, San Diego, Denver, Syria, and even the Bronx.

We were also honored to have in the group Susan Bonfield, Director of Environment for the Americas, the organization that runs the International Migratory Bird Day.

It was fairly quiet, but we still had some good birds including 15 species of warblers.
Highlights were Prairie, Chestnut-sided, Black-throated Green, good looks at Worm-eating thanks to Janet S's very sharp eyes, several Canada Warblers, a fly-by calling Red-shouldered Hawk, and more.

Here's the list. Let me know if you have any questions.

Best regards,
Tom
