Hi Peter,
Despite potentially damp weather forecasts and car-eating sinkholes, we had a great day at Nickerson and surrounding parks.
The weather turned out to be perfect; cool, cloudy, and with the right winds to drive some oceanic birds our way.
We ended up with 61 species.

Numerous highlights included a slow flyby of a Roseate Tern (thanks to Marisa for spotting this), a breaching Humpback Whale, several pods of dolphins, Wilson's Storm-petrels, 2 Sooty Shearwater (great spotting by Kathy, who sacrificed the Roseate to add these to the list), great views of close Saltmarsh and Seaside Sparrows, Black and Surf Scoters, a close Gull-billed Tern, and more.

Here's the list. I'll send a few photos later.

Best regards,
Tom
