Subject: Thursday Walk Report
  Hi Peter,
Here's a report from the Thursday AM walk.
We had a very hardy group of about 20 people who braved the dark clouds and sub-human, very cold, temp. And it turned out, against all expectations, to be a very birdy day.
We had 62 species overall. Highlights were Eastern Bluebird (pair in midwood!), 5 species of woodpecker, 2 Osprey, American Kestrel, several Barn Swallow, several Brown Creeper, several Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Wood Duck in a tree, several Eastern Towhee, Chipping Sparrow (indeed, 7 species of sparrow), American Widgeon female looking very friendly with a male Mallard... and more.
Here's the list and a couple of photos for posting.
          See you in the park.
          Best regards,
          Tom
