Thursday Oct 3rd Prospect

Leader Tom Stephenson

Hi Peter,
Good seeing you today. We had a very pleasant walk..lots of Kinglets, Phoebes, and Palms but still no flood of Blackpoll or Yellow-rumps. The park was fairly birdy in spots, and the weather was great.
We had 69 species total, including 15 sp of warblers. The highlights were Sora..!  (pictures attached)..great looks two different times; an adult Bald Eagle flying over the sparrow bowl area; Kestrel calling a couple of times, Rose-breasted Grosbeak, Scarlet Tanager, Ruddy Duck, et al.

List below. Let me know if you have any trouble with the zipped Sora photos.

Best regards,
Tom
