Subject: 2nd Thursday Walk
Hi Peter,
Hope you're surviving the heat in the park.
We had our second Thursday walk. Unlike the extremely birdy first walk, this one was a bit more like walking through a ghost town...very quiet...We did end up with some good species, including 8 species of warblers, and we got a good number of lifers for a visitor from S California.
But all in all it was pretty quiet.
Here's the list.
Highlights included Wilson's and Canada Warblers, two Northern Waterthrush, Osprey, adolescent Wood Duck, Least Flycatcher, two Great Blue Heron, and lots of Orioles...
Best regards,
Tom
