20 birders worked as a team and found 80 species yesterday. I think one of the highlights for me was the time we spent seeing and hearing a WEWA foraging and singing at a distance of about five feet at eye level for several minutes. 

The real highlight though was suddenly realizing what great birders my regulars have become over these past three years by learning from and challenging each other. Giving back is where the real birding treasures are found not lists and rarities.
