Peter, 

Twelve birders met on a cold and beautiful January day with endless blue skies. Heydi led us around The nature center and environs where she found a pair of American Tree Sparrow, great looks at an over wintering yellow-rumped warbler, half a dozen  red breasted merganser and some yankee widgeon stumbling all over each other as they woke from their slumber on the hill side. A fun day had by all and special thanks to Heydi for inviting us to bird her backyard today! Thanks to Chris Las for keeping today's list.
