Subject: BBC Walk yesterday

Hi Peter,

A bit delayed, here's the list for our club walk yesterday.

The most notable sounds we heard, at least at first, was silence...
Not much around at all...

The first warbler call was a Northern Waterthrush responding to a feral cat prowling the bushes in the vale.

However although numbers were very low, we were able to find some good birds. Highlights included Prothonotary Warbler (still at the thumb on the peninsula), 2 Philadelphia Vireos and an Acadian Flycatcher in the trees above the feeders, a Brown Thrasher, thanks to Bobbi's sharp eyes, White-eyed Vireo and in total 10 species of warblers including Prairie and Palm.

See you at the talk Monday at the Library.

Best regards,
Tom
