Hi all,

Thanks so much for an awesome trip!! After initial counts, it looks like we tallied 60 total bird species between the two mounds, which is really nice, especially for a November day without much bird migration. Major avian highlights for me were seeing all of the brants, the meadowlarks, the snipe, and the Nashville warbler. Major non-avian highlights were the dekay's brownsnake (a lifer for me), all of the woolly bears, and hanging out with you all.

I've attached the photos of us, and here's a trip report with all the birds from both checklists. I've linked iNaturalist reports for all the non-birds in the trip report comments. Send me any non-birds you iNaturalisted if you want me to add them, and send me your ebird username if you want me to add you to the checklists.
